The hair design was just a little sketch that I came up with to help represent what I wanted from the hair that was already in my mind. I wanted there to be texture in the hair and volume. Like what I had researched in the Ready to wear Chanel show of AW14/15 the hair had structure and neatness at the front of the hair but the pony tail isn't perfect and has different lengths and textures in. The materials that I used were all found at the store fabric land. In total there were two different blue ribbon shades in her hair a gold chain material and the lovely and very Chanel I felt material of the chain and pearl with I folded around the hair. The ribbon were fastened by loom bands as I wanted another inclusion of colours and youthfulness into the look like the stacked up brightly coloured glass bottle shelving of the supermarket set Chanel produced.
I'm really happy with the final makeup and hair for this assessment. I feel like the final work produced in exactly what I wanted to achieve. The skin is pretty neat using the face and body and the placement of the cheek blush has worked well. Before I had done a test shoot and looked at using powder instead of cream for the cheeks and felt like it hadn't gone well in the final imagery. The cream blusher was a lot easier to use and blend into the face. The eyeshadow and mascara also I felt worked well from the high intensity of colouring that really popped out from the makeup. The mascara that I used was a Miss Sporty branded turquoise one which was a really good buy as I was surprised with how pigmented it was.
