Edit with Chanel Logo for submission
The final image from my first shoot for the project which I designed for a Catwalk evening look. I decided to aim this image towards a more evening look because of the mood boards that I had created featuring New York. I imagined my model to be at a bar in her Chanel clothing and unique hair styling. The eye makeup also is rich and definitely something that is meant for the evening strutting down late night New York streets.
Over all I'm really happy with the makeup it was a thought out shoot with detailing and something that I had been planning for a little while especially after looking and creating a number of facial charts that could also fit into the shoot. I'm happy that I decided the one I did as it suits the models colourings.
Photographing the look was more stressful as a I wanted a fresh and clear finish to the photography but feel that the final effect is dewy though clear against the purple background. I originally planned on using a blue backdrop but sadly on the day there was only a purple lilac tone which was disappointed but couldn't be helped. I think a blue backdrop would of worked better but I do really like the purple as it warms the final imagery up and theres a pleasant shading on the right side of the jacket.
The pose of my model I know is very positioned but from some previous shots to look like in action poses as in to act like my model was mid walk I felt the final images weren't ideal. For a evening inspired catwalk look the grabbing of the jacket is believable in the image.
